What's Happening in Room 30.....

Important Announcements:

  • The students worked SO hard on the MAP test last week.  I was so proud of each of them!  The students were using so many wonderful strategies we have practiced this year as they completed the test.
  • The students will be MAP testing on Monday and Wednesday this week.  They will be taking the math section of the test on Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
  • Thank you for sending in your encouragement notes!  The students bring them to the testing room and often read them during a brain break!
  • We have been practicing mindfulness meditation in the classroom.  As a brain break, we use Smiling Minds website to practice deep breathing and relaxation strategies.  It is a great website and can be used at home, as well!  The kids LOVE it!
  • If you have not done so, please sign and return your child's 3 field trip permission slips as soon as possible. On Friday, we will be going to GEMPP to explore 3 different Missouri ecosystems.  Fingers crossed for good weather!:)
