Learning About Specialized Structures

After learning how a bird's beak is designed to eat specific foods, the students are challenged with using different "beaks" (tweezers, chopsticks, and a spoon), to pick up "food" (marbles, pennies, and toothpicks).  They are learning how certain beaks better for different foods.
