What's Happening in Room 34....

Things You Should Know....

  • The students will have their spelling/vocabulary test on Friday.  They have created index study cards and have been practicing them with their peers for morning work.  They should continue to work with them at home to help prepare for the test.  The students will be responsible for spelling the words, knowing the definition and using the word correctly in a sentence.
  • The students will be assigned to work on multiplication Quicktables periodically for homework.  Quicktables are on ALEKS and the students know how to find them.  Several students still need to master their facts.  Please assist with practicing at home as much as possible.
  • Our new classroom leadership roles will begin later this week!  We are excited to get new responsibilities set up to help maintain our classroom.
  • If anyone would like to loan our classroom a 100 - 300 piece puzzle, that would be wonderful.  I purchased a puzzle for our classroom before break and the students LOVED working on it with their peers after completing their work.  They are eager to get started on a new one.  Thank you.
